DenverSec is just one of the many local CitySec meet-ups around the world. CitySec was spawned out of /r/NetSec as a way to bring together local communities with a shared interest in information security.
The Denver meet-up is designed specifically to be a social gathering. There are no presentations or slide decks and sales pitches are discouraged. All are welcome -- even if you're not working in the industry!
The dates, locations, and times can sometimes vary but we usually meet on the third Wednesday of each month at a downtown location, starting at 7:00 PM. Be sure to follow our Twitter account, @DenverSec, to keep up with the upcoming meet-ups and related announcements.
We've also added an iCal calendar you can now subscribe to for the latest location and date details.
Below you'll find our latest tweet with details about the next meet-up:
We know this is obvious by now, but for the sake of communication...— DenverSec (@DenverSec) April 6, 2020
We're holding off on all future #Denver #CitySec meetups until further notice. We'll be following the rules and guidelines set forth by the City and County of Denver.
We hope all of you are safe and take care!
